Summary:                    msh Umlauts Problem
Description: 
msh has problems with german umlauts (maybe other 8bit chars, too).

Reproduce:
# loadkeys de-latin1
# echo 'Ä'
D
# touch testfile-äöü.txt
# ls testfile*
testfile-dv|.txt
