[BusyBox] Busybox version numbers

Hello all,

What is the official scheme for the busybox versions?

The tar creates a directory busybox-1.00, but I often see busybox 
referred to as "1.0.0", "1.00" or even "1.0".

What will follow version 1.00?

The question may seem trivial, but I am building a small distro based on 
busybox, and dots and zeros actually matter a lot :-)
