Hi,
This is probably not the best forum to ask this question, but try
writing out console=ttyUL0, 115200 or whatever your baud rate is.
Second what kernel and drivers are you using? For further help I would
consult the linuxppc-embedded at ozlabs.org they have lots of xilinx
