pthreads support in uClibc

I am interested in porting uClibc linuxthreads to an architecture with
a stack that grows upwards (a la hppa). I noticed that there is some
code checked in for it but the testsuite logs still list hppa as XFAIL
due to missing pthread support. What is the current state of
linuxthreads in that regard? Is there a todo list of the work that
needs to be done on it?
