[BusyBox] minimizing file system (rootfs) from 40MB to 4MB

Hi all,
    To create a file system i am using the buildroot.
Now the problem is, buildroot is generating filesystem
of size more than 40MB but i want only 4MB. so how i
can reduce the rootfs, by Customizing the target
filesystem.
